Photo Day is a Bittersweet Club International-exclusive comic in which Daisy wakes up with the worst hair of her life on the morning of school photos. Her friends rally around to fix it, with all the care and competence you’d expect from this bunch.
Partial synopsis
Before classes begin, David is thrilled about photo day, Sue calls school photos dumb, and Lucy does not care. Mike offers the corny opinion that they all look nice every day anyway.[1] Daisy then appears in the doorway in tears, her hair a frizzy mess that she has spent all morning trying to fix. Lucy tries to comfort her with “Yer not much different from how you ordinarily look.” Daisy breaks down sobbing, prompting Mike to scold Lucy.[2]
Paulo hauls a bewildered Rachel into the classroom as their hair expert. Rachel agrees that her hair always looks good, adding that she does not mean to brag.[3] Rachel starts to tell Daisy that she is beautiful no matter what. Daisy grabs and shakes her, shouting “JUST FIX ME!!”[3] Rachel gets to work with the straightener she brought to school, and Daisy’s curls begin to straighten.[4] With this many helpful friends packed into one classroom, though, Daisy’s hair turns out to be only the start of the morning’s troubles...
Trivia & observations

- The launch newspost announced Photo Day as the 40th comic posted to the Club members’ library.[5]
- David’s habit of greeting Lucy as “Lucy-baby” dates back to his first scenes in the comic.[1][6]
- Daisy’s wail that she’s an “UGLY MONSTER” every day echoes her breakdown in Model Girlfriend, where she sobs that she’s “just a huge ugly monster who’s only good for a study guide!”[2][7]
